3. (aviation)

Alargaron la pista en el aeropuerto para evitar que los aviones la sobrepasen.They extended the runway at the airport to avoid planes from overshooting it.
A pronominal verb always uses a reflexive pronoun. (e.g. Te ves cansado.).

4. (to overstep the bounds)
a. to go too far
A word or phrase that is commonly used in conversational speech (e.g. skinny, grandma).
No te sobrepases con tus comentarios o te echarán del grupo de debate.Don't go too far with your comments or you will be expelled from the debate group.
5. (to exceed)
a. to overreact
Ana se sobrepasa y se pone en lágrimas si recibe una nota menos de una A.Ana overreacts and breaks into tears if she gets anything less than an A.
