2. (to put material in)
a. to stuff (a cushion)
Llevé a rellenar los cojines de la sala.I took the cushions from the living room to be stuffed.
b. to fill (a hole)
Después de quitar los tornillos, rellene los agujeros con masilla.After removing the bolts, fill the holes with putty.
3. (culinary)
a. to fill (cakes)
Mi mamá rellenó los panqués con dulce de chocolate.My mom filled the pancakes with chocolate fudge.
b. to stuff
Rellenó el pavo y lo metió al horno.She stuffed the turkey and put it in the oven.
4. (to complete)
a. to fill in (gaps)
Es obligatorio rellenar los espacios en blanco.It is obligatory to fill in the blanks.
b. to fill out (a form)
¿Ya rellenaste la solicitud?Have you filled out the application form?
