b. no direct translation

¡No entres! Los murciélagos pululan en la cueva.Don't go in there! The cave is teeming with bats.
Bajo esas rocas pululan los gusanos.The space under those rocks is crawling with maggots.
2. (to move in a disorderly way; used with "por")
a. to swarm around
Los turistas pululaban por el aeropuerto buscando su vuelo.The tourists swarmed around the airport looking for their flight.
b. to mill around
Era tarde pero mucha gente seguía pululando por las calles.It was late but plenty of people were still milling around the streets.
