a. to exaggerate
A Ramiro le gusta magnificar las cosas cuando cuenta una historia.Ramiro likes to exaggerate things when he's telling a story.
b. to blow...out of proportion
Tranquilízate. Estás magnificando la situación y no es para tanto.Calm down. You're blowing the situation out of proportion but it's not a big deal.
c. to magnify
Tratemos de no magnificar el problema.Let's try not to magnify the problem.
