A transitive verb is a verb that requires a direct object (e.g. I bought a book.).
1. (to stuff)
a. to fill up
Hace falta macizar estos huecos en la pared.You need to fill up these holes on the wall.
b. to fill in
El constructor macizó la abertura con cemento.The builder filled in the crack with cement.
An intransitive verb is one that does not require a direct object (e.g. The man sneezed.).
2. (to throw bait)
a. to bait (transitive verb)
Los pescadores macizaron esperando pescar algo.The fishermen baited the fish hoping to catch some.
