d. to obliterate
Los bombarderos aniquilaron las defensas de la fortaleza.The bombers obliterated the fortress' defenses.
e. to crush (the rival team)
Alemania aniquiló a Brasil por 7 a 1 y avanzó a la final.Germany crushed Brazil 7-1 and moved to the final.
2. (to emotionally destroy)

b. to crush
