1. (to make up to date)

b. to bring up to date

c. to refresh (screen)
Podrás ver los cambios que hicieron si actualizas la pantalla.You will be able to see the changes they made if you refresh your screen.
2. (to modernize)
a. to upgrade (software)
Es recomendable actualizar la tarjeta gráfica para disfrutar de este juego.We recommend upgrading your graphics card to enjoy this game.

3. (to become up to date)
a. to be updated
Esta información se actualiza cada cinco minutos.This information is updated every five minutes.
A pronominal verb always uses a reflexive pronoun. (e.g. Te ves cansado.).
4. (to modernize)
a. to get up to date
Nunca he utilizado una pantalla táctil. Tengo que actualizarme con la nueva tecnología.I've never used a touchscreen. I need to get up to date with new technology.
