As the years pass the city has expanded further and taken over most of the farm land.

Two hundred meters is called a "furlong" which is less than a mile,

so, one mile is more than a "furlong".

The name furlong derives from the Old English words furh (furrow) and lang (long). Dating back at least to early Anglo-Saxon times, it originally referred to the length of the furrow in one acre of a ploughed open field

I can not go further in my studies in Spanish,

because my goal is getting farther from me.

¡Esa es la verdad,sino!
