It doesn’t matter whether your child is in kindergarten or upper elementary school; we have resources for you to learn and practice Spanish together!
Word of the Day
Are you familiar with our Word of the Day feature? If not, take some time to check out the recent Words of the Day! This is a great activity to do together. Learning one new word each day is a fantastic way to practice Spanish poco a poco(little by little)! You could even make a poster or flash cards to practice the Words of the Day at home with your elementary school student.
Vocabulary Lists
Looking for a way to practice Spanish together with your student in kindergarten, lower elementary school, or upper elementary school? Our Vocabulary section is ideal! There are two ways to practice Spanish alongside your child using our vocabulary section:

The Vocabulary tool is ideal for young learners. You can use the Vocabulary tool along with your child on a desktop computer, tablet, or cellphone.
Note that you can toggle between fill-in-the-blanks answers and multiple-choice answers by using the button in the top-right corner of the screen. This button looks like either an Aa or four squares, depending on the current type of answer you see.
Learn Spanish Course
The Learn Spanish course is ideal for adults to do together with older students, especially upper elementary students and homeschool students and families looking for a more structured course! Our Learn Spanish course is designed to help students learn vocabulary and grammar through carefully structured lessons. You will have the opportunity to hear the sentences used, which will help develop listening skills in Spanish!

To practice speaking, use the Chrome browser to take Learn lessons. Make sure you have the microphone enabled!
How Does Learn Spanish Work?

Each Learn Spanish lesson is divided into two parts:
- A series of lessons designed to help you learn by doing
- An article about the vocabulary and grammar used in the lessons to help you review what you’ve learned
TIP FOR PARENTS OF SPANISH STUDENTS: Read the article before your student starts the lesson to familiarize yourself with the concepts they will encounter in the lesson. This allows you to help them with the concepts in the lesson as you supervise their progress.
