I have been asked a few times about how to find the Phrasebook. I am waiting for a response from the administrators. In the meantime, you can find it here.

A lot of things seem to be "hidden" - I have no idea why they are not shown on the front page.

For example - Reference Articles. but the search function does not work - it gives results from the Q&A.

You're right Ian!!! they've always been hidden... and we've worked a lot gathering all this info... It's a pity for the new members because there's no way they can find all this... - Benz, Jul 6, 2014
Exactly amiga - ian-hill, Jul 6, 2014
Ian – I echo Benz - It’s an Excellent Listing of Resources – Thanks for Recommending them again! - - Esteban_317, Aug 16, 2014

I am bumping this thread with the links below.

Phrasebook

Learning resources.

Reference Articles.

Dictionary Grammar etc

Audio and video resources.

I wish the links were on the front page of SD.

I tried to add a phrase to the phrasebook a few months ago and when I asked where they were, they wrote me and said they no longer were allowing contributions.

Really? Thank you for letting me know, Katy. I will contact the admins and ask about having it back. :) - rac1, Jul 6, 2014
Try it again, Katy. - rac1, Jul 6, 2014
Yes it is true - the reason being was that we no longer had enough bi-lingual members who had time to "validate" the many suggestions. - ian-hill, Jul 6, 2014
I wondered what happened to my suggestion... good to know - too late to the party for that badge - making Ray's record # of contributions truly unbreakable! - Esteban_317, Aug 16, 2014
Gee that's too bad. I am sorry they don't do that any more. - sanlee, Nov 19, 2014
Maybe you could start a thread for phrasebook suggestions and they could be checked and ready in the case that they allow them again. - sanlee, Nov 19, 2014

W O W A. you've outdone yourself this time - That's an amazing list of resources - it will take a quite some time to sample them all.

To get to phrasebook I adapted a tip from Bosquederoble who gave to me the direct link in an earlier forum Q & A. Rather than always go back to that Q & A - I go to the drop down menu and translation. When I'm done looking at the info on the word there, then I go up to the URL and cut everything right of the / [beginning with translation]. . . Next I type phrasebook in its place. I've done it so often, that my "autofill" completes it now after I just type p . . . hit enter, and I 'm there [easy, ( - :` ]. Not an elegant solution, but it works for me.

@ Esteban Ok, but that won't work to find the "Learning Resources" page. - rac1, Jul 5, 2014
Very good helps from you both - Thanks Ian and Annie. - Esteban_317, Aug 16, 2014

Somehow we have to think of a better way, but this will have to do for now, I guess - sanlee, Dec 3, 2014
O K, I have linked the all through the reference section. Hope it helps! - sanlee, Dec 3, 2014
That was a great idea! I wish we could have it listed on the menu. - rac1, Dec 3, 2014

This is a mod here smile

Reference Articles

I would like everyone to ask - via the feedback button - why the search function does not work on the Reference Articles - it returns search answers from the Q&A which is quite useless.

There is a lot of useful stuff in the Reference Articles - most of it supplied by SD members.

I have asked several times with no luck.

Saludos Ian
