aquél, -élla (pl aquéllos, -éllas) pronoun demostrativo
Note that aquél and its various forms can be written without an accent when there is no risk of confusion with the adjective.

those (ones) - este cuadro me gusta pero aquél, -élla del fondo no -> I like this picture, but I don't like that one at the back
- aquél, -élla fue mi último día en Londres -> that was my last day in London
the former (nombrado antes)- teníamos un coche y una moto, ésta estropeada y aquél, -élla sin gasolina -> we had a car and a motorbike, the former was out of petrol o (British) gas, the latter had broken down (United States)
whoever, anyone who (con oraciones relativas)- aquél, -élla que quiera hablar que levante la mano -> whoever wishes o anyone wishing to speak should raise their hand
- aquéllos que… -> those who…

In the past the standard spelling for these demonstrative pronouns was with an accent ([aquél, aquélla, aquéllos] and [aquéllas]). Nowadays the [Real Academia Española] advises that the accented forms are only required where there might otherwise be confusion with the adjective.
