Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes. Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos. Por favor, deja que todos tengan una oportunidad y pon más o menos una respuesta, sin fotos. . Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun.

Amigo - It is customary to give the person who posts a thread a vote if you answer it. :) - ian-hill, Apr 4, 2017
@Ian. I agree! I don't understand why a few don't vote for those who run the games. I still value your contributions, NKM1974. :) - Sassette, Apr 4, 2017

Prefiero hacer esnórquel, los surfistas nunca saber qué acecha abajo.

I prefer to go snorkeling, surfers never know what lurks below.

I would not wish to be entangled in those underwater sea plants.

No quiero estar enredar en aquellas plantas marinas subaquático.

No querría entendarme en aquellas plantas submarinas.

When would + verb in English is usually used to form conditional tense in English (eg: would do, would go) it is translated by the conditional indicative tense in Spanish. - FELIZ77, Apr 5, 2017
Thank you, Feliz. :) - Findy, Apr 9, 2017

Smurfing Surfing just got more interesting.

The guy (man) on the left is speaking sarcastically to his girlfriend: "You can't swim?! You've chosen a great time to tell me you can't swim, when we are facing a Tsunami, haven't you? What do you expect (want) me to do about it? It's a bit late to ask for swimming lessons now, isn't it?!"

I think with a tsunami the water goes in for a period of time. That should be a warning that calls for people to run, run, run, to the highest ground possible (or maybe a rascacielo). - Sassette, Apr 6, 2017
Sassette, I wonder how long the warning is / how much time they would have to escape the impending doom?! - FELIZ77, Apr 6, 2017
