The truth is that all truisms are not true.
La verda es que todas las perogrulladas no son ciertas.
Debería una perogrulladas que cuando alguien compare los hechos reales con "verdaducho", uno es verdad y otro solo parece verdad.
It should be a truism that when comparing truth and "truthiness," one is true and the other only seems true.
(I had the choice of sticking with the English neologism "truthiness" in my Spanish sentence or going with a made-up Spanish word. I chose the latter and used a word offered on Wordreference.com by a native Spanish speaker. Comments welcome.)
