Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes. Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos. . Please encourage everyone with a vote. . .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun

Previous Picture of the day Lucky and Oscar.

Today's image comes from our good friend in England Ian-Hill.

I have never met someone with such a cold stare.

Born in India in 1918 to an English mother while his Irish father, who was a British citizen, was serving in the British army, Spike also served in the British army and was wounded during the Second World War. In spite of this, the Commonwealth immigrant act of 1962 stripped him of his British citizenship and he had to become an Irish citizen.

I imagine it would be nice to sit on the bench beside the statue in sunlight. I'm sure this man would not bore me with his talk.

Disculpe, señor, pero ¿no he visto usted antes en alguna parte? Señor, ¿por qué no me contesta? ¿Usted es duro de oído?

Excuse me, sir, but haven't I seen you somewhere before? Sir, why don't you answer me? Are you hard of hearing?

Mi novio parece tan frio actualmente. Me temo que no me quiere más.

My boyfriend seems so cold these days. I am afraid he doesn't love me anymore.
