Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! enter image description here

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Our picture today comes from Nicklebackfan1 Thanks again, amiga.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

I am going to close my eyes, when I open them, I hope to God that I am on an ice floe, surrounded by seals, instead of this very hot hellhole of a cage.

Polar Bear: Ay! My head hurts.

Polar Bear's wife (not in picture): How many times do I have to tell you not to drink so much?

Good Nick. You need some punctuation. Jesus, John, put some clothes on. There are little kids on here. The punctiation us usually the same in the Spanish, too. :) - sanlee, Jan 11, 2016
Gracias Sandy. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 11, 2016
Nickel, whenever you are making a character/person give a command you nearly always use the imperative indicative: In this case, "Juan, ponte la ropa - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016
One of the few exceptions is when notices are written for the general public. For example, notice written next to a lift in Spain: No usar el ascensor en caso de incendio. = Do not use the lift in case of fire. I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016
Si Feliz it helps a lot thanks mate. :). - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 11, 2016
Nickel, you are welcome as always :) "Juan, ponte la ropa. (you need a full stop after ropa) Hay etc...niños pequeños - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016
Nickel, you are welcome :) "Juan, ponte la ropa.(you need a full stop after ropa) Hay niños pequeños I don't understand what you mean "on here" (what do you mean by "here", Nickel.Do you mean, on the iceberg?) You would need sobre el iceberg - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016
Gracias Feliz I could not get a clear translation for that. :) - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 11, 2016
There is also another/ better translation for iceberg but I cannot remember it :) - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016
I wonder if Dani knows ? - Nickelbackfan1, Jan 11, 2016
Great explanation Feliz :) if you want to translate 'some clothes' then 'ponte algo de ropa'..hay niños pequeños aquí..(not 'de') :) - Pablo064, Jan 12, 2016
I had an argument with a guy sobre "iceberg" I told him it's the same in both languages. The RAE backs me up. - Daniela2041, Jan 12, 2016

Polar bear talking to his oldest daughter!: "Oh, I really can't believe it! What do you mean, you forgot to defrost the fridge, sweetheart? We don't even have a fridge...we get (ie: obtain) all our fish, fresh every day from 'Iceland' !" I only wanted you to put the fish on the table! Is Is it any wonder (ie: Are you surprised that...) we have so many problems with global warming when so many people can't even follow simple instructions! Now, where did I leave the instructions for the new radiator?"

This is so embarrassing. I don't believe I will ever be able to show my face around here again. And for what? How was I to know that someone was filming me?

Yes, Jr, The word for pregnant is embarrazada.(estoy embarrazada) I know because I made the embarrassing but funny mistake of saying it in Spanish and we guys canot be pregnant as far as I know lol ;) - FELIZ77, Jan 11, 2016

The polar bear: This is disgusting… so much wait for breakfast! Good service is hard to find these days.
