Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! enter image description here

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Pon tu comentario/ título/ pie de foto a esta imagen (ambos en español y inglés) y vota por las respuestas que te gusten. La mejor respuesta será seleccionada mañana, tanto por la cantidad de votos como por la corrección en el uso del idioma.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

  • Por favor, deja que todos tengan una oportunidad y pon más o menos una respuesta, sin fotos. .

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day:

¡Ajá! Sabía que habían puesto una cámara oculta en algún lugar; ahora creo que la he encontrado.

Aha! I knew that they had put a hidden camera somewhere; now I think I have found it.

Gato: Estoy sentado en frente de dos ratoneras y no sé cuál de los dos va a salir un ratón gordo y sabroso.

Cat: I'm sitting in front of two mouse -holes and don't know from which will come out a fat and tasty mouse.

Nickel, I would say: El gato está confundido por qué su dueño maulló. Por eso = therefore, not why! Why = por qué. ¿Por qué? is usually used as an interrogative question in Spanish but in this context just to mean the reason why! I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Dec 9, 2015
Thanks Felix :) - Nickelbackfan1, Dec 9, 2015
I've meowed before. It really does confuse a cat, a lot. - Dogboy1000, Dec 9, 2015
Nickel, my name is feliZ .Very good caption!, You do not need the word "el" here before the word maulló just, por qué SU dueño maulló! - FELIZ77, Dec 9, 2015
The word el does not serve any useful purpose. You would not use a personal pronoun here and on the rare occasions when you should use the pronoun "él" = he it carries an accent on the é! ;) to distinguish it from the word el = the - FELIZ77, Dec 9, 2015
I agree with Feliz :) - Pablo064, Dec 10, 2015
Thanks Felix :) You are a great help mate. - Nickelbackfan1, Dec 10, 2015
Muchas gracias por tu confirmación, Pablo :) - FELIZ77, Dec 10, 2015
You are welcome, Nickel :) - FELIZ77, Dec 10, 2015
self correction: typo; word order should be: just maulló. The sentence should be: por qué SU dueño maulló! - .. - FELIZ77, Dec 10, 2015
Nickel, Feliz means happy. My name is not even Felix in English! lol - FELIZ77, Dec 10, 2015
Sorry auto correct I meant to say Feliz - Nickelbackfan1, Dec 10, 2015

I've heard of Nanny Cam, but Tabby Cam?!? Did the dog put you up to this?

He oido del Cam de Niñera, ¿pero Cam de Gato? ¿El perro te animó a hacerlo? ¿El perro le animas a hacerlo?

The cat: "Not that I'm paranoid or anything*, but I'm convinced (that) somebody is watching me and anyway, (besides) who keeps following me?!"

El gato: << No es que estoy obsesionado con algo, pero estoy convencido de que me alguien está vigilando, y además, ¿quién me continua seguir! (o ¿quién me sigue!)

Editor's note/s: I have not attempted to translate, the words: "or anything* as I do not think that theyactually have an equivalent in Spanish! At, least I do not know of anyway to translate these two words just used for emphasis in English! wink

Corrijan mi español, si es necesario, por favor smile

Cat (to his owner): Hey, wait a second. How did you get over here, when I just saw you in the kitchen?

El Gato (a su dueño): Oye, espera un segundo. Comó estraste aquí, cuando yo solo te vi en la cocina?

Please feel free to correct my grammar & spelling, if you think it's incorrect. smile
