Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Oh how I would love to have a time machine to be able to experience life as it was in those days!

People have crowded the front street so they can see the Back Street.

Many people long for the past, because they think that thing were better back then, but I have always believed that there have been advances both in society and technology that make it so the present, although far from perfect, is better, and I am sure that I would not have liked it if I had been a serf in the shadows of some castle.

Urgent advice: a ' no' is missing..Beautiful thought, as usual, and I agree,w ho would have liked to be the maid that got up at 5 am to light all the bed room fires? - annierats, Oct 14, 2015

Those were the days, my friend;
We thought they'd never end.
We'd sing and dance forever and a day.

Esos eran los días, mi amigo;

(So, as I see it, this sentence is making a statement from the present about what "we" wrongly assumed at some point in the past would happen in the future, which has now become the present. I have no idea what tenses and moods are required in Spanish.)

It looks (seems) like this photo could be a scene from the film: "Back (Return) to the future" with Michael J Fox Perhaps his dad is taking his mum out to the theatre, for their first date?!

Here is some information about the film: Back to the Future coursey of Wikipedia: enter link description here

..vayan al teatro...what it's in brackets should be 'regreso' I know it's 'Regreso al futuro' somewhere - Pablo064 13 hrs ago

Would: "Vuelvo al futuro" be wrong, then, please ? - FELIZ77, Oct 15, 2015
no because in that case it would be like 'yo vuelvo al futuro' and it should be 'vuelta al futuro' when you say 'regreso' is not a conjugation of the verb 'regresar (yo regreso)' it's just a noun I guess like 'a return' :D - Pablo064, Oct 16, 2015
I can't do it better sorry :D - Pablo064, Oct 16, 2015
No, please don't feel the need to apologie, / You don't need to apologise, Pablo Thank you for your explanation which I completely understand! :) - FELIZ77, Oct 16, 2015
