Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!**

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and post one or so captions and no photos.

Please encourage everyone with a vote. smile

. .Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day:

A "bed sheet" is a "sábana" So "Holy sheet" "Santa Sábana" (But only bilinguals would get it.) Others may not know that "sheet" sounds like the English word for "caca" . - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
Yes, you're right. Thanks, Dani. ♥ - rac1, Sep 23, 2015

It was a very windy day and she had decided to hang out the laundry on the clothesline.

HI, Probie: You don't need the "a" between decido and colgar. - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
OK, sir. Thanks :) - sanlee, Sep 23, 2015

Well. at least the bed sheet should be dry in no time.

@don Ian: A bed sheet is "sábana". Lámina, I think is a sheet of plywood. At least that's how I heard it used in Mexico. - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
Of course it is - gracias Dani. - ian-hill, Sep 23, 2015
..se debería secar.. would be better :) - Pablo064, Sep 24, 2015

She has never imagined that in this bed sheet lives a ghost, but it may be that only the wind is kidding.

Hi Porcu, typo, el viento *está bromeando** She never imagined that a ghost lives in this bed sheet, but it may be that the wind is joking. - sanlee, Sep 22, 2015
Porcupine, the idea of the wind kidding around with her is very clever. Good job! - jrschenk, Sep 22, 2015
Yes, it is :) - sanlee, Sep 22, 2015
(Note accent on "sólo" and the location of it.) OK, so I found more than one. :-) - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
Gracias amigos - porcupine7, Sep 23, 2015

The danger with drying your clothes outside during Halloween is that a ghost can decide to inhabit your sheet.

Well that's a wrap!

Much easier than a divorce, and quicker.

Is it a shroud than. It is a morbid idea - porcupine7, Sep 22, 2015
A "wrap" is a term used in film making meaning that it is finished. You can also "wrap" someone in a sheet. :) - ian-hill, Sep 22, 2015
In American stage and TV English, "That's a wrap." means "OK we're done with this scene." I have no Idea how to make this work in Spanish. There's too much "sheet" here. - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
Lol Dani. - rac1, Sep 23, 2015
OK, then it's a wrap then . Gracios a mis amigos por sus ayuda. - ray76, Sep 23, 2015

It is better to lose them this way than in the gears of the machine.

Correction: No "lo" is needed "Es" all by itself means "it is." then "mejor" (better) then "perderlos" (to lose them" ) finally "de esta manera que en los engranajes de la máquina." - Daniela2041, Sep 22, 2015
