Picture of the day: Hitching a ride

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

Soybeba: "spend gasoline" doesn't sound natural. Spend + noun is mostly for money, time or energy. "She doesn't USE any gasoline" or "She doesn't spend any money on/for gasoline." - DilKen, Jul 6, 2015

In this case, turns is plural, but I can't use ningunas (to agree with the plural noun to mean any/none.) So, the appropriate thing to do is to NOT translate the "any" into the Spanish. This is frequently the case. "Any" is one of the English words which is often not translated into Spanish. Thanks, Soybeba

In the first sentence I said "Please do not make A sudden turn to the left" I would NOT say "Please do not make ANY turn (singular) to the left" because this would sound funny. So...use "any" with a plural noun in English, but do not use ningunas to mean none/any with a plural noun in Spanish."
