Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!
This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!
The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student continued.

I hope that it's not an invasive species like the Canada goose which stays all year and leaves its droppings on the lawn and eats a lot of the garden.

A child says, "Mom! Look! What kind of bird can have laid this weird egg?"
(note the construction "habrá puesto" or even "habría" puesto is called the "future or the conditional of probability" in the college textbooks used in the US. It is not really used to indicate the future, but to indicate that a certain thing is unknown to the speaker.) I have used this construction before and have been "corrected" for it.

Mother bird, who is watching from a distance, talks to father bird:
"I told you (that) that egg was 'out of this world' ! ..." Now, perhaps next time you will pay more attention to me when I tell you that 'free range' eggs are always more natural and safer than 'f'actory farmed' eggs!"

I wasn't sure how to express the feminine form: 'mother bird; because the Spanish word for a small bird which is 'pájaro' is masculine! It does not seem as straightforward (easy) as other mascline and femimine forms: el perro /la perra, el gato / la gata', el elefante / la elefanta. I did find the word: pájaro mosca = hummingbird which uses a feminine adjective following a masculine noun. Please advise!

I have told you our new adopted son was too different, darling...after a week of training he still cannot fly. But it was a wonderful idea to buy our "little angel" those protections.

(In English, "cuckoo" is used both to name a bird that lays its eggs in the nests of other birds and to describe the behavior or mental state of a person who is a bit crazy. Might not work in Spanish.)
