Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student faithfully continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone and me with a vote. smile

.Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

It seems to me that they even have 'keep fit for aeroplanes' these days! Whatever next?! wink

The only correction would be the marks :) - Pablo064, May 4, 2015
Thank you Tiempo. .you mean the exclamation marks? Spanish natives have told me that when you want to use both ¿question marks and ¡ exclamation marks in the same sentence you would put the ¿ at the beginning and the ! at the end of the sentence in orde - FELIZ77, May 4, 2015
in order to correspond to the use of both the ? and the ¡ at the end of a sentence in English! - FELIZ77, May 4, 2015

No way am I flying in a plane that can fold its wings.

I'm not sure about 'en ninguna manera' instead of 'de ninguna manera' but you could have heard it in that way in the country where you live ..que puede 'doblar/plegar' las alas' (no 'se') :) - Pablo064, May 4, 2015

This is a special plane, I hope that despite these long wings it can take off.

Nice try, but the overpaid CEOs are not going to be able to land it on top of their skyscrapers and so are going to have to keep their helicopters to commute to work.

Let's see the Joneses keep up with this.

(I'm not sure what expression for "let's see" fits this context. I just took a shot at it, choosing among several possibilities. Please correct if needed.)

If I had enough money and got a drink driving ban, I would buy such a plane to go shopping for my whisky (hopefully the shops are beside the police station)...

The wings have to fold or the plane won't fit in the garage.

Good one, Jenny! - sanlee, May 5, 2015
Thanks, but I don't understand the 'se'. Is it reflexive? or a pronoun? - jennysk, May 5, 2015
Yes jenny you have to use reflexive pronoun because those wings are folding themselves I don't know if that is clear :) - Pablo064, May 6, 2015
Si, claro. Doblarse. - jennysk, May 6, 2015
