Picture of the day: Just Hanging around

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice our Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain more or less exactly as RelaxingCup designed them and H C A student faithfully continued.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please encourage everyone and me with a vote. smile

.Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

So that's what they mean by a bird's eye view.

The addition of these porch swings are just the cat's meow.

We prefer this rather than being put in the dryer.

And when did they say the journey in the hot air balloon would start?

They say: When the cat is away the mice will play. Well in these baskets the mice will think we are away and begin to play. Then we get to play! But we need to be patient.

These human fools bathed us and now they were hanging us out to dry. They did not know that the cats bathe every day by themselves.

The cats: "This is no fun! We are supposed to be starting our first skiing lesson on a dry ski slope in ten minutes, but this ski lift has suddenly stopped!"

Our owners went on vacation, and left us hung out to dry.

(For English learners, the idiomatic usage: http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/hang_out_to_dry)

Very useful I'll write it down Bosque you could say 'y nos dejaron colgados para que nos sequemos' well 'dejar colgado a alguien' could be 'abandonar' too :) - Pablo064, May 4, 2015
I wondered about whether abandonar or dejar would be better, colgando or colgados, and if I needed para que instead of para. And picked wrong on all three it seems. Thanks, Tiempo. :) - bosquederoble, May 4, 2015
I just saw another mistake jajaj it's ' dueños salieron de vacaciones' or 'se fueron' - Pablo064, May 5, 2015
I was batting 0 on this one I guess. Thanks, Tiempo. :) - bosquederoble, May 5, 2015
