Find a word related to B A L D E R D A S H

Question

The idea is to find an English word (synonym or antonym related to the word –

B A L D E R D A S H (sustantivo) and then write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word.

Or an unusual use of the word.

Example:

I find that most of what has been said by most of our leaders about recent religiously motivated terrorist attacks to be almost complete balderdash.

Hay gente que cree que todo lo que los científicos escriben sobre los efectos de los seres humanos en el medio ambiente es de paparruchas, y hay otra gente que cree que estamos causando la extinción más masiva desde hace 70 millones de años, pero la mayoría simplemente prefiere ignorarlo y vivir sus vidas como si nada estuviera ocurriendo.

There are people that think that everything that the scientists write about the effects of human beings on the environment is a bunch of drivel, and there are other people that think that we are in the midst of causing the most massive extinction in the past 70 million years, but the majority simply prefer to ignore it and live their lives as if nothing were happening.
