Find a word related to L I T H E

The idea is to find an English word (synonym or antonym related to the word – L I T H E (adjetivo) and then write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word.

Or an unusual use of the word.

Example:

Leopards are lithe as are all cats.

Los leopardos son ágil como son todos los gatos.

Pictures are a good idea.

This link might help you find some ideas.

We have no official corrector for this challenge yet.

I don't think there is a Spanish word for this look..' She was lithe as a panther' does not convey a motherly look. - annierats, Dec 11, 2014
I think Ian is talking about her lithe appearance and not about her looking motherly. - rac1, Dec 11, 2014
Lithe as in supple. :) - ian-hill, Dec 11, 2014
Yes, but lithe is more than supple.. I asked my husband who is an ENGLISHMAN, so there. - annierats, Dec 11, 2014
Jejejeje Annie :) - rac1, Dec 11, 2014

'Spry' es una palabra en inglés americano que escuché hace unos años. En inglés britanico decimos 'spritely', pero ambos palabras quieren decir el mismo.

Nunca creas que sabes alguien a causa de su edad. Mucha gente parece vieja pero es todavia muy agil...

'Spry' is an American word that I first heard only a few years ago. In Britain we say 'spritely', but both words mean the same.

never think you know someone because of their age. Many old folk remain very spry / spritely...

I agree, lithe is not ' agile' it is more than that.. It's an elegant, sort of lean look with abit of predator about it, do you agree? - annierats, Dec 11, 2014
Yes, but they are closely related in meaning. - Faldaesque, Dec 11, 2014

My dictionary only has "ágil" for "lithe" but lots of things can be agile and not lithe - locusts for example.:) - ian-hill, Dec 11, 2014
Yes, it depends a lot on the context...what you are describing. - rac1, Dec 11, 2014
