The idea is to find an English word (synonym –- antonym related to the word – T E A S E (sustantivo / verbo) and then write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word.

Examples:

It is sometimes difficult to tease out what is actually happening.

A veces es difícil descubrir lo que realmente está ocurriendo.

She was only teasing.

Estaba de broma.

He took a screwdriver and teased out the remaining screws.

Cogió un destornillador y sacó los tornillos que quedaban.

Pictures are a good idea.

This link might help you find some ideas.

We have no official corrector for this challenge yet.

I think I can manage to be the corrector for the English. smile ?

Please encourage everyone by voting for them and me. wink

This was the previous challenge.

Hola amigo, Ian, es uno de los mejores hilos diarios que se publican aca, pero hace falta un corrector, a mi me gusta mucho sugerir correcciones pero sabes que aun soy aprendiendo y no he adquirido fluidez hasta ahora.. - Joydeep_Singh, Dec 10, 2014
This is one of the best daily threads that are published here, but it needs an official Spanish corrector, I sure like to offer suggestions and corrections where ever needed but as you know that I am still learning and have not been able to acquire the - Joydeep_Singh, Dec 10, 2014
the kind of fluency and proficiency needed for being a corrector so we need some Native ... My suggestion , we must send an invitation to Dani and Tx to participate and help with the corrections .. hope you like my suggestion .. hehe - Joydeep_Singh, Dec 10, 2014
Hola amigo - I suggest we all try to help eachother - if a native speaker would like to help out that would be great. - ian-hill, Dec 10, 2014
Unfortunately native Spanish speakers very rarely want to commit to the task. - ian-hill, Dec 10, 2014

I will personally request Dani, if she agrees that will be great.. helping each other is a great idea (which we do any way) but as we are not experts yet so sometimes we can err or go wrong, hehe - Joydeep_Singh, Dec 10, 2014

taunt—befarse

The other children taunted the new boy on the playground.

Los otros niños se befaron del niño nuevo en el patio.

("Befarse" might be a verb that is so obscure as to be virtually unknown. I found it on WordReference.com, but Google balked at searching for its conjugation, and it's getting a red line under it here on Spanishdict. Anyone?)

I saw "befarse" but I thought it was Portugués. - rac1, Dec 10, 2014
you did chose an odd one Ann - pacofinkler, Dec 10, 2014
"Befar" is conjugated on Spanishdict, and on its translation page it gives "befar(se) de" as a pronominal verb meaning "to scoff at, jeer, or taunt", yet Spanishdict redlines many of its forms, and Spellcheck keeps changing it to "belfries." - AnnRon, Dec 10, 2014

Cuando solía tomar el pelo a mi esposa por cualquier cosa, ella solía decir “no me pongas en ridículo”, pero yo siempre creía que decir “no te burles de mí” sería más adecuado.

When I used to tease my wife for whatever, she would usually say “don’t make a mockery of me”, but I always thought that saying “don’t mock me” would be more appropriate.
