Picture of the Day: After the wedding...

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

• Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

A veces malas cosas suceden cuando menos te lo esperas.

Sometimes bad things happen when you least expect them.

Just for consideration, I think your English and Spanish do not quite match- "te lo esperas" - expect it (it= that they happen), "te las esperas"- expect them (them = the bad things). That said I think it works either way. Just my opinion. :) - bosquederoble, Oct 18, 2014

If he drops one of those bottles he'll have to use that tongue to lick its content off the floor...

Si indicative, future works, si past subjunctive, conditional works, but if you use si immediately followed with present subjunctive it will almost always be wrong. I think you need deja. I also wonder if Pablo will prefer del to desde el. :) - bosquederoble, Oct 18, 2014

Good thing its a refrigerator and not a freezer. Getting your tongue stick to the handle would really blow.

Why are you in so much hurry? When you already cleared away all the boxes and bottles you have time to open the window and can find the hidden drinks.
