Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

With the many Chinese martial arts it is not a miracle that kids are always fighting.

Porcu, I think you may mean " it is a miracle that kids are not always fighting. " I hope this helps :) - FELIZ77, Oct 5, 2014
Could be both I think amigo :) - ian-hill, Oct 5, 2014
Ian , I would respecffully. disagree here Porcu's version has the opposite meanng to mine and I suspect the opposite to the one she intended ! I doubt that we would use the word miracle in the negative context ! - FELIZ77, Oct 5, 2014
self-correction: respectfully :) - FELIZ77, Oct 5, 2014
Ian for example we might say: Considering teh way those kids just crossed the road it's a miracle that none of them were killed! - FELIZ77, Oct 5, 2014
although Porcu could say; Isn't it a miracle that kids aren't always fighting? /Or, it's a miracle isn't it that kids aren't always fighting! - FELIZ77, Oct 5, 2014
I would use 'tantas' 'Con tantas artes marciales chinAs' but I agree with Feliz777 :'es un milagro que los chicos no estèn siempre peleando ( it is a miracle that kids are not always fighting.) =) - 003e54f5, Oct 5, 2014
To me "it's no wonder" would sound better than "it is not a miracle". - Jubilado, Oct 5, 2014

How Mr. Kim changed his discipline technique to align with the "No Spanking" rule.

I will not put up with violence in my classroom. Behave yourselves or I will kick you again.

mmhm could it be 'compórtate o te...'? - 003e54f5, Oct 5, 2014
I had that at first; then I checked it using a translator, which suggested the above. I trust you more than any translator, pablo, so if you say it's "compórtate," then that's what it is. - AnnRon, Oct 6, 2014

This is so typical of life- one child provokes the other into fighting and the child that responds is the one that receives the punishment.

If you don't stop these acts of violence I'm going to beat you unmercifully.

Teacher: "You want to learn to fight properly, boy? Good, but not in my lessons, okay?! (understand?)!"
