Picture of the Day: Text Speak

Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day: Checkmate

If you see someone drowning, laugh, do something with bacon, then call police to transport body to morgue.

I called 101 and no one answered!

Llamé 101 y ¡nadie no contestó!

Thanks to everyone for the correction - I've been away from the site.

The "no" is not needed ;) "¡Y nadie contestó! - lrhlpz, Sep 28, 2014
Jejejejejeje...... hmmmmm - katydew, Sep 29, 2014
Jubilado, I agree with ihrlpz, the word nadie in your sentence already means 'nobody/no-one,'answered so the extra 'no' is superfluous here and looks out of place! :I hope ths helps ) - FELIZ77, Sep 29, 2014
I know that teh Spanish do use double negatives in their speech but I don't think that the no here is necessary :) - FELIZ77, Sep 29, 2014

Call 911 and watch them drown while awaiting an answer.

But don't get your feet wet.

Probably it is better if instead of a phone call you would dive in and would rescue the person in danger.

Not being able to swim isn't funny, particularly when you should be more worried about the sharks...

Well at least they are trying to be honest with respect to the response time to 911 calls in their area.

Alguien que se ahoga hizo algo tonto. Así que reír en voz alta.

Someone who is drowning did something foolish. So laugh out loudly.

A good piece of advice: don't go swimming wherever you find this noticeboard.
