Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

Here is the previous Picture of the Day: Cloudy with a Chance of Spiders

And here is today's picture:

This is a fake. There's no way their missiles shoot that high!

A clear example of the need for US economic aid.

One small leap for man, a giant leap for alternative energy.

The perfect way to launch rockets, if you ask me.

And they called South Korea's missile test a farce. Pot, meet kettle.

(Please correct my Spanish.)

- 003e54f5, Aug 10, 2014
about "pot meet kettle" would it be "Olla conozca al hervidor" mhm It is a way of saying "hypocrite" no? so in Spanish we say "la sartén dijo al cazo" :) - 003e54f5, Aug 10, 2014
Oh, typo. Thanks for catching it, pablo. This is one time when I actually know better. - AnnRon, Aug 10, 2014
. . . better than to have made the error, that is. - AnnRon, Aug 10, 2014
We refer to the pot calling the kettle black to point out a certain kind of hypocrisy. Recently, "Pot, meet kettle" has served as a kind of smarty-pants shorthand for that. Thanks for the Spanish equivalent. - AnnRon, Aug 10, 2014

Unfortunately, I think that the truth is that the North Korean missile program has advanced much farther than this, and nowadays threatens a considerable part of the world.
