Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day!

This is a game where we can practice languages and have fun at the same time!

The rules are very simple and remain exactly as RelaxingCup designed them.

  • Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy.

  • Please, give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

Please help each other with your English/Spanish sentences. And above all, have fun!

He is going on vacation soon and he's practicing his limbo dance.

This is a great limbo video (in Spanish) by my favourite reggaeton singer Daddy Yankee..this is for all the gentlemen on SD...are you listening guys? grin

It was filmed at Centro Ceremonial Otomí in Temoaya, Mexico and the scenery is fabulous, 224,249,943 viewers can't be wrong! It will make you dance!

@HCAStudent...did you know that limbo originated in Trinidad as a religious dance at wakes? The bar was placed at the bottom to start the dance and was raised (opposite to what we do) to signify the emergence of the person from death to everlasting life. - 007c5fc1, Apr 23, 2014
hmmm margherite, that is very interesting, thanks for the history lesson! :) - actorgirl, Apr 23, 2014

The police officer: "I just love this song, 'Dancing in the Street' and I can't stop dancing! !f someone doesn't stop the music soon, I will not be able to continue directing the traffic and we could be (stay) here all day! (literally: to the end of the day!) hahahahaha "

I just love this song = I love this song sooooo much! The word just is used in this context/sentence only as an intensifier: ie, for emphasis! = Muchísimo (so / very much)

Here is a link to the music Dancing in the Street enter link description hereversion by David Bowie and Mick Jagger:

That is not the best place to show off how well you can do the limbo.

Ronald, the clown, and Sergeant O'Neill, are taking part in a work exchange... Meanwhile O'Neill is handing out fines to the other clowns (& an elephant) in the big tent...
