Spanish-speaking Music
I want suggestions of Spanish-speaking singers-songwriters from Spanish-speaking countries. I would like to get in touch with all kinds of music, I already know some from Mexico, Argentina and Spain, like Pablo López and Julieta Venegas. I wanna improve my Spanish and learn more about the Hispanic culture through music. I will wait for your help.

- do you want the Spanish lyrics?
- do you want easy to listen to ballads which are easy to listen to, or a variety of styles?
- I actually among others enjoy a group from Galicia but they sing in galego. We listened to 'para vivir' sung by Tania Libertad in our Spanish class as a good representation of 'reported speech' It is actually written by a Cuban and Libertad, though she lives in Mexico, is Peruvian. She sings very clearly.
On the poetry thread I have linked to some of Mercedes Sosa. She was passionate about rights for indigenous people and human rights to.
