Hello everyone,

The Picture of the Day. Game for practicing and having fun.

- Guidelines -

Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen tomorrow on the basis of the greatest number of votes as well as the language accuracy. ;^)

Remember to correct your posts as suggested. Posts that are not corrected cannot be "accepted".

Please give everyone a chance and only post one caption and no photos.

I will advise on the Spanish part, and I'm still looking for volunteers on the English part.

This is the previous: Picture of the day: Pelo largo
(Please correct my English)

If there's somebody who doesn't prefer well done, they had best tell us pronto.

Note, I was trying to look up cooked meat terms like medium, medium well, well done etc, and there was a LoT of ambiguity. Could not tell if there were multiple good translations, or a mix of good and bad ones. Help! Please! Anyone have a list? - rogspax, Dec 10, 2013
The basics are: "cruda - poco hecha - al punto - muy hecha - quemada". So: "Si hay alguien que no prefiera la carne muy hecha, es mejor nos lo diga pronto." would sound perfect. - RelaxingCup, Dec 12, 2013
Thanks RC. Darn, forgot the lo again. - rogspax, Dec 12, 2013

Thank God we were able to save the chicken. Who wants another drumstick?

Muchísimas gracias Annie - Mainer, Dec 11, 2013
Nice one (though one suspects chicken might have a different take on just how ¨saved¨ it was) - rogspax, Dec 11, 2013
Jajaja. I would say "muslo de pollo" for 'drumstick'. :) - RelaxingCup, Dec 11, 2013

Firefighting procedure: Quench the stomach fire first, then the other fire.

nice and clean statement, but shouldn't it be an onion-fire in this case ;-) - Aranjuez12, Dec 11, 2013
That is a brother and affiliated union but distinct from and aligned to the amalgamated food pickers and crappers union. - ray76, Dec 11, 2013
Thank you R C , so the first part was OK then ? - ray76, Dec 12, 2013

Experience has taught us that such fires dont spread.

This will teach them to vote down our rate increase.
