Gandulea con la pelota y recíbo el cuerno. You mess with the ball and you get the horn.

or, just go away.. - annierats, Dec 9, 2013
"Gandulear" means 'to idle' or 'to loaf around'. Besides that, this is a set phrase and it's hard to make a short, concise translation. Maybe: "Si juegas con la pelota/bola, te llevas el cuerno." Un saludo. - RelaxingCup, Dec 9, 2013

Nice play on words. You go girl, I like to do that, you got one up on me. Jeje - pmikan-pam, Dec 9, 2013
Hi Margherite. I would say just: "Voy a marcar uno." Not a 'gol' because that looks like a basketball and you don't 'marcas goles' in basketball. :) - RelaxingCup, Dec 10, 2013

El tipo que me dio la pelota dijo que su nombre es "Guillermo Tell"

yo no estoy tan seguro ahora .

The guy who gave me the ball said his name is "William Tell " I am not so sure now.

Now I just have to run to the line and jump over those guys with the helmets, right?

Ahora sólo tengo que correr hasta la línea y saltar por encima de esos tipos con los cascos, ¿verdad? ?

Hi Aran, basketball a game played by two teams of usually five players each on a rectangular court having a raised basket or goal at each end, points being scored by tossing the ball through the opponent's basket - pmikan-pam, Dec 9, 2013
Holaa Aran - pmikan-pam, Dec 13, 2013

Another penalty for travelling. I never will understand this game.

Otro castigo para por ir andando. Nunca entenderé este juego.

That was my complaint. If you want me to get there fast, I have to carry the ball! - 0095ca4c, Dec 10, 2013
I would say "Otra falta" or "Otro castigo" + "por ir andando" or "por andar" Un saludo! - RelaxingCup, Dec 10, 2013

¡Te dije que no podrías hacerte con podía conseguir conseguir el baloncesto! ¡Mis equilibrados movimientos son demasiado rápido para usted rápidos para tí!

I told you (that) you couldn´t get the basketball! My balanced moves are just too quick for you!

Did I used the double ¨you¨ correctly here? - bandit51jd, Dec 8, 2013
I think you just scored! - 0095ca4c, Dec 9, 2013
'I told you (that)' = "Te dije que". 'you couldn't get' = "no podrías conseguir". + "Mis equilibrados movimientos son demasiado rápidos para tí." - RelaxingCup, Dec 9, 2013
Aso: "hacerte con" (gain) instead of "conseguir". "Movimientos" is masculine and plural so you have to use "equilibrados" and "rápidos", both adjectives. "Demasiado" stays singular - it's an adverb. I used "ti" at the end because you wrote "Te dije" :) - RelaxingCup, Dec 9, 2013
I sent you a PM, RC! I wasn't quite sure about "hacerte con". Again, thanks! - bandit51jd, Dec 9, 2013

I'm shooting from a three point. Estoy lanzando desde la línea de tres.

For basketball we say: "triple" (canasta de tres puntos). In basketball context I would use "tirar" for 'to shoot'. My suggestion: "Estoy lanzando desde la línea de tres." (from the three-point line). - RelaxingCup, Dec 9, 2013
Sorry for changing your sentence so much. Maybe I misunderstood your original intention. Let me know if that's the case. Un saludo. - RelaxingCup, Dec 9, 2013
Thanks RC you help me more t han you know. - pmikan-pam, Dec 9, 2013
I didn't know how to say this cheeky statement going for 3 point buck and 3 point line. - pmikan-pam, Dec 9, 2013
jajaja...awesome amiga! You obviously know more about basketball that I do. :) - 0095ca4c, Dec 9, 2013
Thank you amiga, thank you for the great pictures!!!!!!!!!!!!! - pmikan-pam, Dec 9, 2013
