That's how to make the flies flee and the fleas fly.

Así es como se hace que las moscas huir y las pulgas escapar.

(Explanation: When spoken, flee and flea sound the same in English. Translating into Spanish does not have the same effect.)

"Ese perrito está/es chistoso y muy lindo." Use "está" if it's momentary (the dog is funny because of what he is doing right now) or "es" if you think he is always funny. Same thing with "lindo". - RelaxingCup, Oct 28, 2013

My guess: shake something off = to get rid of something that is on one by shaking. I think that "agitar" may be conjugated according to the context. What about ➜ "Quítalo, quitalo de encima." ? - RelaxingCup, Oct 25, 2013
