Find a word "related" to the word N A S T Y

Nasty

The idea is to find an English word or phrase "related" to the word "nasty" – adjective

and

write a simple sentence in English and Spanish for that word.

Example:

He had a nasty illness. (love sick) what is that in Spanish?

(Él) tenía una enfermedad desagradable..

...............

Pictures would be nice .

Mariana has kindly agreed to be the “official” corrector of the Spanish.

I think I can manage being the “unofficial” corrector for the English, je je

Gracias Yesero - ian-hill, Nov 23, 2011
Ian, our dictionary has "con mal de amores, enfermo(a) de amor" for 'lovesick'...or are you thinking more along the lines of "amor no correspondido" = unrequited love? - cristalino, Nov 23, 2011
This is a great game Ian, how come I've missed these? I have a feeling they could be addictive :) - Kiwi-Girl, Nov 23, 2011

"la mano" Generally, we use the article when talking about body parts in Spanish. - --Mariana--, Nov 24, 2011
but you can use tu and in this case I probably would as there's no previous reference to a person, what do you think Mariana? - Kiwi-Girl, Nov 24, 2011

What strikes some people as 'indecent' or 'patently offensive' may look very different to other people in another part of the world. Lo que afecta a algunas personas como "indecente" o "claramente ofensivo" puede parecer muy diferente a otras personas en otra parte del mundo. alt text

"bruto" is not the correct word, Tosh (take a closer look at the dictionary definitions). "Algo que da asco" or something similar would work. - --Mariana--, Nov 24, 2011
