How to read an e-mail, let's practise:-)

Question

This will be good practice for both Learners of English and Spanish!!

It is essential (!!) to read this thread before you start

We will do the following:

1) Give one address in English-

2) The next person will have to write the address in English in words and do the same in Spanish.

2) Provide a new mail address in English. (only the address not in words)

3) Click on NEWEST to continue in the right order.

Just a note to all, emails are generally given in all lower case (or all uppercase). You can capitalize letters if you wish (for stylistic reasons...like to help people see the words within the clod of letters), but this information is completely ignored by the email servers (which will likely convert them to all uppercase).

I am not certain it is necessary to mention capitals. Though it wouldn't be wrong, but does add extra, unneeded information.

Just my two cents.

It's my fault...I was the first to start mentioning capitals and then later realized the servers ignore it and then I realized no one has ever mentioned whether an email had capitals or not in all the years people have told me their emails. - webdunce, Jun 3, 2011
