(pl ésos, -as) pronoun demostrativo
Note that ése and its various forms can be written without an accent when there is no risk of confusion with the adjective.
1. that one (en general) (singular); those (ones) (plural)
  • ponte otro vestido, é. no te queda bien -> put on another dress, that one doesn't suit you
  • estos pasteles están muy buenos, pero ésos me gustan más -> these cakes are very good but I like those ones better
2. (informal)
  • é. fue el que me pegó -> that's the one who hit me
3. (expresiones)
  • ¡a é.! -> stop that man!
  • ni por ésas -> not even then
  • no me lo vendió ni por ésas -> even then he wouldn't sell me it
