in a sentence ,how can i distinguish that it is presnt tense or past tense? because it is same in both tense

It is the form for both present indicative and preterite, for the first person plural (nosotros). Context must clarify which is intended, just as in English when we say, "We hit the ball." That could be past or present, and context must clarify.

Besides, regardless of what you call the tenses, present tense can be used for past, present of future.
