Flashcards: Problems or questions

Question

I LOVE the Flashcards. I have used the option to make my own. However, my list I create won't stay. I can use it but when I go away and try to come back to it, it's gone. What am I doing wrong? Quiero ayudar!

The same happens to me. I can't access the lists that I had created before the crash. All that shows up is the numbered pages for the flashcard lists in upper left hand side of the page.

I am having the same problem. Going to "My Flashcards," does not solve it. Does anybody know if the flashcrds we had prior to the crash, are going to be re-installed'

Hi everybody: I actually *used *my flashcards today.

On the flashcards list you can see on the left hand corner "my flashcards". Can you not open that link? If you can't let us know.
oOr can you and the flashcards are not shown, or you can't open them?

I go to Flashcards, then I go to My Flashcards. At My Flashcards, I get a blank screen with just 1,2,3 next in the upper left hand corner. I click on the numbers and those pages are empty, too.

I too cannot retrieve my flashcards. When I select "My Flashcards" I get a prompt to select a list, but there is nothing to select from. Foe what it's worth I am using Firefox.

HI Steph and Eke,

Can you try the same thing with explorer or another server? As I am having myself so much trouble getting into the site with firefox, that might be the reason for this flaw.

I have no problems opening my own flashcards with explorer, still can't log in with firefox though.

At the end, we corrected almost all flashcards on the site. Many were simply made private as they presented to many mistakes to be corrected. Some were deleted. There might have been a problem when changing over to this site.

New flashcards are private by default now. Please try to make a list and see if it works.

Hi I am glad to see the website is back up but I am having problems with the flashcard option (which is the main thing I use this site for)

First all the flashcards I have created before the system crashed are gone.

Second I went in and recreated some flashcards TWICE and both times they are not there when I log onto the site again

I've logged on from three different computers so it doesn't look like its a PC firewall issue.

Is anyone else having this problem

Please help!

Hi - I am also a very loyal fan of the fashcard option and am having the exact same issue AND I have logged on for two different days on THREE different PCs and the issue is consistent.

Hopefully the people in charge here are monitoring the site

Issues:

1) All the flashcards I have created before the system crashed are gone.

2) I went in and recreated some flashcards TWICE and both times they are not there when I log onto the site again

3) When you are creating flashcards the letters with the accents and other unique characters that used to be on the page are no longer there i.e. á, ñ
This was a big help and is really missed

4) The search function also does not seem to be working on the flashcard page. When I search I get a blank screen.

5) There is no longer an option to put the flashcard deck you like into your personal deck (a GREAT option)

Hi everybody: At this moment we are looking into more urgent issues, so we would ask you to please be patient.

This thread is followed by the creator and the person in charge to look into bugs. As soon as we can, we will get this working properly.

Personally I had no problems opening my flashcards. I have not tried to create a new list, but I will look into the fact that they seem not to stay on the site.

I created another list tonight. Used it, then clicked on Flashcards tab to practice with other sets. When I clicked on "my flashcards", my list was not there.

So far none of the lists I've made have been saved.

I cannot save the flashcards that I tried to create either. I just wanted to let you know that I was using Internet Explorer and not Firefox at the time, so I don't think that it is a Firefox issue. I think the flashcards feature is really fantastic, so I will be patient and continue to check the site for when it is fixed. Thank you!

Hi everybody, I have tried myself to create a fake list and I got this message:

An Error Was Encountered

Unable to load the requested language file: language/form_validation_lang.php

WE have to get that fixed first. I have given notice to the software specialist.
