Question

We are working on commands in spanish class and the students want to know how to say "don't sag your pants." Sag is slang, so I am not sure. Anyone know? Thanks

That's a tough one. I don't even know if kids in Spanish-speaking countries do this. (For those who aren't familiar with the slang, it means wearing your pants, which are intentionally too large in the waist, very low, so that your underwear shows about 10-20 cm above the top of the pants.)

Here is a website for the dress code at one school, and it has been translated into Spanish. (Search for "sagging pants" two times.)

You can see that the translator had the same problem, and came up with only an approximation.

Sorry for that. On my browser it is showing as four links with definite black lettering breaks between the blue lettering links, if that makes any sense.

Yes, I can see what you mean, and while I don't know why it did that, it might be because I used the cache feature of Google, and pasted in the cached addresses.
