I have learned that the word for spring, the season, is primavera. Which countries use this and are there other words used for spring'

All Spanish-speaking countries.

Unlike other more relatively recent additions to the language, which has shaped the language slightly differently in each country, this word is late Latin, and therefore it has been in the language long before the Spaniards went to America for the first time. It is the only word we all have for "spring" (as a season, not as a curled piece of wire)
