help with proof read

Question

Hi, i was wondering if what i have here is right. I'm suppose to translate the word in parentheses.
Tú y yo siempre (tell) decíamos todo
Yo (hear) oigo algunas canciones
Damiano siempre (brings) traía algunas plumas para la clase
Ellos las (see) ven también
Estamos (telling) diciendo algún cuento interesante
Yo siempre (bring) traía algo para todos
Tú estas (hearing) oiendo algunos discos populares
Aguien (knows) sabe algo
Yo (know) conocí a alguien muy misterioso
Tú y yo (know) sabemos bailar el tango tambien

I'm also suppose to put this in the negative:
No tú y yo nunca decíamos todo
No yo oigo ninguno canciones
Domiano nunca traía ninguna para la clase
No ellos las ven también
No estamos diciendo ningún cuento interesante
Yo nunca traía nada para todos
No tú estás oiendo ninguna discos populares
Nadie sabe nada
No yo conocí a nadie muy misterioso
No tú y yo no sabemos bailar el tango también

making the sentence negaive doesn't not change the verb (in these cases, in some, like the imperative changing from positive to negative requires a verb change).

You seem to be having trouble recognizing the verb tense in English. All of these examples were present tense or present progresssive and you kept trying to use past tenses in your translation..

In your negative sentences your syntax is incorrect. It should be Subject (pronoun) +no+ verb (yo no oigo...
Ella no las ven...Tú no estás oyendo...Yo no conozco...Tú y yo no sabemos...

To say neither - nor in Spanish: ni tú ni yo+plural verb (ni tú ni yo conocemos...)

If so, wouldn't his prompts have been (to know) if any tense or (knew) if they wanted past tense and not (know)?

As usual much more observant than I, Quentin

You are of course right, I did not pay attention to the prompt in third person. It is quite clear the sentences should be in present simple, even though it is not stated. I wonder though, as it is actually not stated, one might guess they could be correct in past tenses.
We can also assume that the poster forgot to copy that.
