What are some of the ways to use Cuentear in a sentence? I ran across the word cuenten and wanted to know if it related to cuentear.

"Cuentear" is also slang for to gossip (at least in Argentina).

Cuenten is the ustedes/ellos/ellas present subjunctive form of contar - which can mean to count, or to relate (as in tell a story).

cuentear is in the dictionary, but the third-person-plural, present indicative sould be cuentean, not cuenten.

I think we are still missing the main question here.
"Cuentear" means "ir con cuentos". So is not directly related to "cuenten", which is a conjugated form of the verb "contar".
