how would you translate "the flight path of a bird'"

I think flight path is normally used for airplanes, while flyway is used for migrating birds. This would be vía de vuelo in Spanish.

nomi needs to provide more context. In English, "flyway" is only for migration routes, not for a sentence like this:

Humingbirds have a very erratic flight path.

Don't know if the distinction holds in Spanish . . .

the context refers to something that vanishes without trace, like the flightpath of a bird in the sky

In that case, my translation is not the right one. It might be trayectoria de vuelo de un ave.
