Lulo

Question

There's a fruit here in Colombia called "lulo." I often order "jugo de lulo" when I go out to eat. Somehow the taste is a little familiar, but I can't quite place it. Maybe I just remember it from when I lived in Colombia in the 1970's. Does anyone know the name of this fruit in English (US)? It's not in our dictionary.
