Closing a Letter

In English there are many catch phrases for closing a letter--sincerely, best, best wishes, much love, XO.... How are these phrases best translated and/or what are some other commonly used Spanish phrases (and what is their connotation? are they best used with coworkers, friends, parents, spouses...)? Thanks for any suggestions!

besos y abrazos for a wifw, girl friend,sister, mother ,father it means kisses and hugs
or as General Grant (president) aways ended his letters to his wife with a thousand
kisses meaning, mil besos

P/su Cto:entiendo que es para su conocimiento. Atte=atentamente (yours truly o cualquier fórmula equivalente).
Mi duda, es Edif.=edificación, edificio (si el contrato fue redactado por la sección edificación).
