I would like to know if ressetar is a spanish word and what would be the best word to use to ask it one would reset a button? ajustar'

No, it's not a real Spanish word. Double click on reset here and you'll get various definitions.
During my college years in Mexico, we heard people using the inexistent word "resetear" to translate reset. The best translations are reiniciar, reinicializar, restablecer or reajustar.
