ASK A QUESTION Error in SpanishDict.com''?
Not sure how many of you follow the Word of the Day that is put out by SpanishDict.com (The parent site to Learn Spanish Central).
Today I ran across the Word of the Day for February 22, 2008 and I'm sure it's incorrect. Although I've only been using this site for a short time I think that they always use words with the same meaning a Word of the Day. So I would think that the two words should be direct translations.
Today they have the English word 'Dramatic? and the Spanish word 'Drastico'. These two do not have the same meaning.
The word 'Drastico? means 'Drastic? and not 'Dramatic? which means 'Dramatico? in Spanish.
Well, just thought I'd pass that on.

hi, Louie, I disagree in a way. a lot of times dramatic in spanish is related to tragedy. Ocurrió un verdadero drama, algo dramático. I think 70% is correct translate dramatic with drastico or impresionante something of great importance
