Buddy System
Does anyone know how to translate "Buddy Sytem" into Spanish? The context is in using rescue systems in pairs.
Thanks in advance

Yes, I remember the phrase being used in scuba diving but I learned in English!
Thanks for the alternative translation. I also found "compañerismo" elsewhere, but I think it is American slang and so probably not suitable for what I'm translating.
I think you can say sistema de pareja, although it might need further explanation or rewording, depending on the exact context.
"Buddy system" is also used for scuba diving in English. I remember when I went scuba diving in Spanish-speaking countries, the dive master would tell us something like "Tienen que quedarse en parejas."
PS: I just found this:
sis·te·ma de pa·re·ja Masculino - Sustantivo - Singular
1. buddy system; Sinónimos: sistema corporal, sistema de camaradas; A cooperative practice of pairing two or more people together for mutual assistance or safety (especially in recreational swimming).
Thanks for the translation, Sally, that sounds good.
And thanks for the advice on posting too. This is my first post on the forum, I'll be more careful in future. ;o)
