Hello Everybody! Welcome to the Picture of the Day! This is a game where you can all practice your Spanish and English, but still have fun at the same time! Post your comments/titles/captions to this picture (both in Spanish and English) and vote for the responses you like. The best answer will be chosen soon on the basis of the answer I feel is the best, the fact that the person has corrected their post and possibly the number of votes.

Rules [regla] : Please, give everyone a chance and only post more or less one caption and no photos. Please make your answers at least two words long and no longer than three sentences. Encourage everyone with a vote and help each other with your English/Spanish sentences and above all have fun everyone.

¡ E.T., llame a su casa!

E.T., phone home!

(I hope I'm not the only one here old enough to understand this joke...)

Old enough. :D - jrschenk, Sep 23, 2017
"llama a casa" maybe Echo. - jellonz, Sep 23, 2017
I used the command form. Is that wrong? - Echoline, Sep 23, 2017
Not at all Echo, I was just thinking familiar rather than formal, but that's totally up to your preference :) I don't think you need the possessive adj. though. - jellonz, Sep 23, 2017
I agree with Jellonz :) - 00376109, Sep 26, 2017

¡Mire! ¡Al cielo! Es un pájaro; es un avión. . . ."

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird; it's a plane. . . ."

God did not give a better set of wheels to Johnny, because Johnny's motives were questionable, and he used the wrong hand gesture.

Johnny asks God for a better set of wheels... for wheels that would attract chicks.

It seems to me that this car might be a home -made one, because the car body and the wheels are not harmonious, but it does not matter, the child enjoys it and with its help he discovers the forest lights.

Mud tires, I think. :D - jrschenk, Sep 23, 2017
Hi porcu...instead of 'should be' you would do better with 'is' or 'must be' or 'might be', but if you say 'should be' in this context it means that it isn't a home'made one but it would be better off if it were home'made - Echoline, Sep 23, 2017
Thanks Echoline - porcupine7, Sep 24, 2017

The baby is riding a cart and pointing towards the beaming light.
